✨ Pak Pioneers Community Organization of Canada hosted a spectacular Canada Day Celebration and Eid Milan on July 2nd, 2024, at Tomken Twin Arenas. It was an honor to have MP Peter Fonseca, MP Iqra Khalid, Councilor Chris Fonseca, Councilor Stephen Dasko, and numerous esteemed community leaders join us for this special occasion. The event began with a heartfelt recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a meaningful Land Acknowledgement. We then proudly sang the Canadian national anthem together, with everyone memorizing the words to express our deep gratitude to this wonderful country. Participants were captivated by fascinating facts about Canada and delighted in a cake cutting ceremony. Delicious food, including cake and ice cream, added to the festive spirit. A lively quiz about Canada further engaged everyone, with participants receiving gifts for their enthusiastic participation. It was truly heartwarming to see members of our community come together, sharing laughter, joy, and cherished moments with friends and family. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and efforts of all the Pak Pioneers volunteers. Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that the Pak Pioneers senior club will now meet every Tuesday at 12:30 PM at Tomken Twin Arenas.
